Quick chicken and mushroom purée

A quick and tasty way to use up cooked chicken, perhaps from a roast. Served with creamy mashed potatoes, it makes a lovely meal.

Preparation time:5 minutes


Cooking time:5 - 10 minutes

  • Ingredients
    • A portion of cooked chicken, chopped
    • 75g mushrooms
    • 300g tin condensed mushroom soup
    • Butter, oil or margarine (as preferred)
  • Method
    1. Slice and fry the mushrooms in butter, oil or margarine.
    2. Blend the mushrooms, chicken and tinned soup.
    3. Heat in a pan before serving.
