This popular avocado dish is easy to make, needs no cooking and is full of flavour. The use of lemon or lime juice helps prevent the avocado from turning brown.

  • Ingredients
    • 1 large avocado
    • 1 small onion
    • 2 large tomatoes
    • 1 clove garlic
    • 1 tbsp lemon or lime juice
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • Tabasco sauce
    • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Method
    1. Peel and chop the onion.
    2. Peel the avocado.
    3. Skin, core and de-pip the tomatoes.
    4. Crush the garlic.
    5. Blend all the ingredients and chill.
